Looking back at what I did accomplish so far this year, I’ve determined that simple experimentation with media, styles, etc. was too vague of a topic for someone like me who’s generally pretty bad at doing stuff on whim separate and apart from the norm. Most of my 2009 stuff is the same old same old stuff as 2008…and a majority of them are trades/requests/kiris/etc. I remember around the end of the year last year I started saying stuff about an Art Study and I think that is something I’m going to bring back and actually do going into and through 2010.

I’m going to be working on a list of different things I want to learn about such as wildlife and landscapes and from there create a study guide of sorts to give me a focus. At this time I’m not entirely sure how to go about doing that. I’m thinking of doing some research on the topic as well as at least one completed picture that would later be put up for sale. I will include other stuff into the guide as well, it’ll just depend on what it is I’m studying at the time.

I still have one Kiri and two trades to finish so I’m not starting anything beyond creating lists yet. My main focus is going to be on wildlife and their habitats, so if any of you would like to contribute something I can study then please feel free to leave a comment on this journal.

I've decided that I'm not going to take a complete break from DA. I'll just continue as I've been which is pretty close to a full Hiatus anyway. Now that I have completed my To Do list I can concentrate on beginning my art study. ^^

I will be taking a break from DA from November through January. During that time I’ll turn off all of my notices and work on reorganizing my page amongst many other things. My reasons are mainly because it normally gets crazy during that time of the year and I probably won’t have much time for art anyway.
